At the Wild Goose Festival, Lynyetta had a delightful time selling books and connecting with William Paul Young (pictured here), author of the book and new movie, The Shack!
Lynyetta is here delivering one of two workshops she led at the Wild Goose Festival. Her workshop The Spiritual Parenting Revolution shared her innovative Elemental LivingTM Parenting and Personal Leadership Model. Lynyetta created this model to help tired parents feel more competent and present during the sacred moments that matter most to parents and families.
Lynyetta was a member of a powerful team of seasoned speakers and creators at the Wisdom Pre-Camp of the Wild Goose Festival. Lynyetta delivered a workshop on transforming shame into self-compassion and ended with a deep healing meditation for the audience.
Lynyetta was blessed with the opportunity to read her book to two groups of students from the Richland County Public Elementary School (close to 300 students). The school enjoyed the book so much that they purchased 400 COPIES for their students. Check out this short video of the readings with commentary from a teacher and the school principal.
Lynyetta presented her innovative Elemental LivingTM Parenting and Personal Leadership model to the parents of Waseca Montessori School. The model, created by Lynyetta, uses metaphors, brain science, and mindfulness principles to help tired parents feel more competent and present during the moments that matter most. Jack and Jill Teen Conference
Every year, the national organization, Jack and Jill invites a select number of individuals to present at the organizations Teen Conference. Teens from all over the nation attend this conference for knowledge, insight, fellowship, and scholarship. Lynyetta was invited to sell copies of My Forgotten Self and lead two workshops on overcoming disappointment. Her workshop, Making Lemonade from Lemons: 8 Tools to Overcome the Disruption of Disappointment was met with overwhelmingly positive anonymous reviews!

Hillside International Truth Center, Book Lovers Club Book Discussion of My Forgotten Self
Lynyetta was excited to learn that My Forgotten Self was chosen as Hillside's Book Lover's Choice book for the month of June. Lynyetta addressed the congregation during the morning service and later read and signed copies of My Forgotten Self to the gracious book discussion attendees. Dr. Seuss' Birthday and "National Read Across America Day" Book Reading with "Treasure Box" Activity
Lynyetta Willis was honored to spend Dr. Seuss' birthday and National Read Across America Day with the children of Living Hope Christian Pre-school. Lynyetta read My Forgotten Self and worked with the children as they decorated their own treasure boxes and filled them with positive affirmations to help them remember that they are valuable treasures. My Forgotten Self Launch Party
Lynyetta was so honored to host the official launch party of My Forgotten Self! Over 70 adults and 35 children were in attendance. Lynyetta was so humbled by those who showed up to celebrate the release of My Forgotten Self, engage in emotionally powerful crafts, and listen to a reading of My Forgotten Self! Illustrator, Michele Phillips was in attendance. She and Lynyetta had a blast signing books together and the guests were so excited to meet her. "Indispensable" and "professional" do not even begin to describe, event planner, Amy Dietrich; and photographer, Heather Waters of Watermark Photography captured it all with her camera! During the reading, the younger kids crawled up and wanted to touch the pictures and tell everyone about the story :-D! The older kids were interacting so well and had some really creative answers to questions.
